Apparently it is fall now?! We thought life was zooming by with one kid, but apparently once you add another it goes by in a blink of an eye.
Our first few months with Emmie were challenging, but we are starting to finally feel settled as a family of 4.
Lucy is officially 2 years old and we are loving getting to know her! She is very smart, talks nonstop, and loves to sing and learn new songs. She is shy with new people and very empathetic, but also a goofball. Emmie is 3 months old and is either super sweet and laid back about 90% of the time, or crazy stubborn 10% of the time. She definitely has her daddy's personality! She loves to smile and watch Lucy play. We feel so blessed that both girls are growing happy and healthy.
As a family we have seen God move in many ways this summer:
- A safe delivery of Emmie and protection over our family as we continue to host our communities as we feel called to do
- Financial provision, usually on days we begin to doubt (God knows what he is doing!)
- Members of our community blessing us with babysitting, date nights, meals... and sharing words for us that confirm what we had heard God saying earlier
- A growing number of connections in Wilmore! People are hungry for community and more of God, and God is bringing these people to us without us ever advertising
I could go on and on... God has been so good to us, and we are thankful. We are excited to share with you all specifics with our ministry currently and where we are following God's lead going forward! Please continue to pray for protection for us and for our hearts to be in tune with the Spirit, faith to follow, and growing in love for those around us.
