An Unexpected Journey

When Kylie and I decided to work alongside the Inspire Movement we never imagined that we would be doing this type of ministry and where it would take us. We have been challenged and stretched in many ways this past year. We're learning more each day that people are truly hungry and longing for more of Jesus. It's such an honor to play a small part in helping lead people to Jesus.

This past May at our Inspire U.S.A. Core Team meeting we were nominated to become co-directors of the Inspire Movement in the U.S.A. We were surprised and deeply humbled by this nomination. We believe God is using the Inspire Movement to raise up fully devoted disciples of Jesus. We see the pressing need, maybe more than ever, to cultivate disciples who can live faithfully to the gospel, yet stand against the competing narratives of our increasingly secular society. Our vision and that of Inspire coincide together, so we decided to accept the co-director position of Inspire in the U.S.

Our role as co-directors will involve helping sustain and grow the Inspire Movement within

the U.S. We will oversee current missioners who work alongside Inspire and help train and

equip new missioners. In a lot of ways Inspire is in its infancy in the U.S., so this position has

the opportunity to grow and evolve going forward.

This has several implications for our family, which Kylie will write about in a few days. In the meantime, please pray for us. We're taking a huge step of faith, and if we let our minds run wild it can lead us to feeling overwhelmed and completely inadequate for this work. We know, however, that we serve a God that raises the dead and loves to invite us into his redeeming work to the world. So we press forward in His power and love, trusting He will not lead us astray.

In Christ,

Anthony
